<p>Maybe this is widely known, but do the uprights on the PT cruiser fit a first gen Neon? The front suspension is similar and I've got the wheel clearance required. I'd love to just use the disk and caliper but I'm assuming that if the strut mounts are similar I'd have to swape the uprights, bearings and all.</p>

<p><b>Greg Smith replies: </b></p>

<p>The strut clevis (where the strut bolts onto the knuckle) is thicker on te 2000-02 Neon & PT compared with the first generation neons. That's just the most obvious issue. I was told by a chassis engineer that the PT knuckles are different in other dimensions and will goof up the steering geometry if installed on a neon.</p>
