The installation procedure for the clutch up stop/spacer has been changed to provide for a more positive engagement onto the clutch pedal pin. The illustration below provides the details for the new installation procedure.

When replacing the up stop/spacer for any reason, use this installation procedure and the new paats replacement package listed in Parts Required.

The clutch cable adjustuent procedure remains the same as before and is listed on pages 6-2 and 6-3 in The Neon Service Manual (Publication No). 81-270-5025).
